The Tanunda Bakery is a small business situated just outside the town of Tanunda in the Barossa Valley. The family owned business is owned by Harding and his wife Elke Trinkle. Harding is second generation baker after his german father, Helmut Trinkle, with whom he completed his apprenticeship. 

After marrying Elke, Harding spent time working as a baker in Germany, in the area of Elke’s hometown. From his experiences working in Germany, Harding could build onto what his father had already taught him as a foundation. The couple moved back to Australia and began their own bakery, the Tanunda Bakery, in 1996. 

Every morning, Harding rises earlier than dawn, to bake his passion; authentic, german sourdoughs.
